JASRAC annually presents the JASRAC Awards to the copyright holders whose musical works represent a large share of the royalty distribution. The Awards are now in their 29th year. The 2011 JASRAC Awards were bestowed based on the share of royalties contributed during the one-year period from April 2010 to March 2011. The names of the recipients are as shown in the table above. The Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards are presented for the three domestic works that gained the three largest totals, while the Foreign Work Award is conferred on the foreign musical work that earned the largest total royalties, and the International Award goes to the work that earned the largest amount of royalties from foreign copyright societies.
