Cultural Activities
JASRAC, aside from its music copyright administration operations, organizes cultural activities that enhance public awareness on copyrights and promote music culture for the ultimate purpose of serving society.
JASRAC's cultural activities had been funded by the membership dues paid by authors, composers and music publishers who entrusted their copyrights with JASRAC. However, from 2010, coinciding with JASRAC's transition to a "general incorporated association," JASRAC's cultural activities are funded as part of its copyright administration operations, as JASRAC continues to be active in realizing a society where music culture blossoms.
