Effective January 1, 2025, the Japanese Society for Rights of Authors, Composers and Publishers (JASRAC) has concluded a unilateral representation agreement for performing and mechanical rights with KOSCAP (The Korean Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers), a copyright management organization in the Republic of Korea. Under this agreement, JASRAC will license the use of KOSCAP repertoire in Japan.

For the Republic of Korea, JASRAC has concluded a reciprocal representation agreement with KOMCA since 2008, and KOMCA will continue to administer JASRAC's repertoire.

By concluding this representation agreement, the number of foreign societies with which JASRAC has agreements totals 129 societies (97 countries and 4 regions).
