Announcement of New Officers

The Japanese Society for Rights of Authors, Composers and Publishers (JASRAC) has appointed new officers by the resolution of its regular General Meeting of Members and subsequent Board of Directors and Board of Auditors meetings held on June 24, 2026. Their term of office will be until the conclusion of the General Meeting of Members to be held in 2028. The new officers are as follows:

Profile of NAKATOGAWA Naofumi, New JASRAC President

Hometown: Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan
After graduating from Chuo University's Faculty of Law in March 1983, NAKATOGAWA Naofumi joined JASRAC in April of the same year. He has served as Managers of the General Affairs, Human Resources, and Domestic Documentation Departments, respectively, and as Councilor of the Administrative and Licensing Bureaus. He was appointed as Senior Vice President in 2016 and as Executive Vice President in 2020 before taking the position of President.
