Comments
Since its establishment, JASRAC has consistently administered music copyrights amid changing times so that music can be enjoyed by everyone.
As an author and a Full Member, I have served as Councilor, Auditor, and Director of JASRAC. With the support of creator and music publisher Full Members, I have now assumed the position of Chairman in 2026. The role of JASRAC is to distribute royalties paid by music users to right holders such as creators and music publishers. Through the distribution of these royalties, creators can devote themselves to their creative activities.
Japanese music is loved by people around the world, transcending oceans. The Japanese government also has high expectations for music culture as an export industry. Your support for JASRAC, which plays such a significant role, is greatly appreciated.
