We are pleased to announce that IZAWA Kazumasa, President of the Japanese Society for Rights of Authors, Composers and Publishers (JASRAC) has been elected to an American music trade magazine, Billboard's "2026 Global Power Players".

IZAWA has been appointed since July 6, 2022, and has been working on digitalization and improving the efficiency of copyright management operations, as well as strengthening communication with both rights holders and music users.

We understand that this election means that JASRAC's efforts and activities which have been continuously working for the development of copyright management in Japan have been recognized by an international music media. We are deeply grateful for the support of all our stakeholders, particularly those in the music industry.

JASRAC will continue to strive for the sustained development of the music industry and music culture by ensuring the returning the compensation to creators and rights holders that they deserve, while balancing both proper protection of copyrights and smooth use, under our management vision of "elevate the value of creation."
