We pray for those who lost their lives in the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake and express our sympathy to all those who were affected.

The Japanese Society for Rights of Authors, Composers and Publishers (JASRAC) has decided to donate five million yen through Japanese Red Cross Society to contribute to assistance for victims and reconstruction in the affected areas. We will also ask for donations from those who have entrusted the administration of their music copyrights to JASRAC (lyric writers, composers, music publishers, etc.) and JASRAC's officers and employees to make additional donations on a later day.

In addition, JASRAC has decided not to collect copyright royalties from licensees who use musical works at facilities such as restaurants in the seriously affected areas for three months from January to March. We imagine that those who live in the affected areas are still feeling anxiety. We pray that everyone will return to a safe and healthy life as soon as possible.
