The Eighth JASRAC Music Culture Award
The Japanese Society for Rights of Authors, Composers and Publishers (JASRAC), on November 18, 2021, presented the eighth JASRAC Music Culture Award. The recipients were presented with plaques and additional prizes.
Recipients:
ARITA Masahiro / Ancient Music Flute Player
USUI Makoto / Elementary School Music Teacher and University Associate Professor
TANAKA Mitsukazu / Mastering Engineer
KOTETSU Toru / Mastering Engineer and Cutting Engineer
JASRAC Music Culture Award was established in November 2014 to shed light on individuals, organizations and works in various fields that contribute to the development of music culture, through important activities that may otherwise not be heralded or lead to impressive statistics in sales and works usage, to provide encouragement for future endeavor.
The selection was made by the selection committee comprised of experts.
JASRAC will continue to promote a rich music culture through activities which contribute to its development.
