Japanese Society for Rights of Authors, Composers and Publishers(JASRAC)has released the English report of the JASRAC/APMA Copyright Symposium on "Buyouts in Asia" held on March 25, 2021.

The Symposium focused on the topic of buyouts (a commercial transaction in which copyrights are purchased in exchange for a lump sum of money when the creation of a piece of music is commissioned) faced by creators in Japan and abroad, especially young creators, and discussed the problems and solutions.
