Today (March 31, 2021), JASRAC filed a final appeal and petition for the acceptance of a final appeal against the judgement (March 18, 2021) by the Intellectual Property High Court (Part 4: with Judge Kanno Masayuki presiding) to the Supreme Court on a lawsuit filed by musical instrument class operators against JASRAC. The reasons for the appeal will be clarified in the court proceedings.
