The Japanese Society for Rights of Authors, Composers and Publishers (JASRAC) published a document regarding JASRAC Fiscal 2019 Business Affairs and Responses to COVID-19 for the press conference which was held in May every year and was cancelled this year due to COVID-19.

The spread of COVID-19 has affected the entire music industry, that authors and composers as well as music users who are willing to use musical works by performing or other forms have been significantly impaired.

JASRAC will continue to strive for the development of the music industry and music culture to overcome this difficult time by liaising with not only entrustors such as authors, composers and publishers, but also all music users who support the creation cycle.
