As part of JASRAC's response to COVID-19, JASRAC has decided to bring forward the schedule for distributing royalties to rights holders including lyricists, composers and music publishers as follows.

JASRAC identify more than 2.4 billion musical works submitted by users (*1) and distribute royalties to over 470,000 rights holders (including distribution through foreign societies and music publishers) on a quarterly basis for approximately 2.5 million songs in Japan and overseas (*2).

The distribution for June 2020 is expected to be about 29.3 billion yen (*3), which is mainly based on the royalty collection of FY 2019. As part of JASRAC's response to COVID-19, JASRAC has decided to bring forward the schedule for distributing royalties to rights holders in order to ensure early distribution to rights holders.
