JASRAC held a Ceremony for its 80th Anniversary Announcement of Visionary Message:
“Let’s link to the future, and to the world. A declaration of innovation to mark our 80th year.”

The Japanese Society for Rights of Authors, Composers and Publishers (JASRAC), on November 18, 2019, celebrated its 80th anniversary.

Founded in 1939, JASRAC gained understanding and cooperation from a number of people including music users and right holders such as composers, authors and music publishers, and proceeded copyright management operations. We would like to extend our sincerest gratitude and appreciation.

On this date, JASRAC held a ceremony for its 80th anniversary, and announced the Sixth JASRAC Music Culture Award as well as presenting the appreciation letters to all the long-term licensees. Furthermore, JASRAC announced the visionary message: "Let's link to the future, and to the world.
A declaration of innovation to mark our 80th year."
