JASRAC calls for donations from Members and Trustors to support
those affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake
In addition to the 30 million yen donated in order to support those who have been affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake of March 11 and to help the recovery of the affected region, JASRAC has decided to call for donations from its Members and Trustors as follows:

JASRAC is calling for donations from its Members and Trustors.
The donations will be handed over to the Japanese government, local public organizations, the Japanese Red Cross Society, and other organizations so that they may be used to support the lives of those affected by the disaster.

JASRAC will introduce a mechanism whereby Members and Trustors will be able to donate portions of the royalties they receive from JASRAC to support the recovery.
In addition to the call for donations, Members and Trustors will be able to pledge a part of the royalties distributed from JASRAC every three months in order to provide continuous support for the recovery of the affected regions.
Members and Trustors electing to do so may designate the works, periods, category of rights, etc. subject to the donation. |
