Seoul Declaration Announced by
APMA Chairman Shunichi Tokura (JASRAC Executive Advisor)

APMA (Asia-Pacific Music Creators Alliance) Chairman and JASRAC Executive Adviser Shunichi Tokura announced the Seoul Declaration (refer below) at the “2017 Creators Seminar in Seoul” on May 12, 2017, where many music creators from the Asia-Pacific region, Korean government officials and others were on hand.

The Seoul Declaration was adopted by the APMA Executive Committee, which was held prior to the seminar, in order to identify issues currently faced by music creators in the various countries of the Asia-Pacific region.

The Seoul Declaration is envisaged as a powerful voice to encourage governments, policy makers and lawmakers in the region to address these issues in their respective countries.
